This is done by the use of a stethoscope to check the ease of breathing. Wheezing and difficulty breathing can be a sign of a respiratory disease including asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia. Blockage of the nostrils could also be an indication of a respiratory tract disease therefore it is advisable to seek immediate medical attention.

-Blood tests

This are laboratory tests that are performed on blood, urine , stool or tissues to check on any abnormalities that would indicate the presence of a disease.The blood tests are useful when identifying blood related diseases such as blood cancer, malaria, typhoid. The results vary depending on the person’s diet, gender, age, weight and how often they exercise.

-CT scan

Also called a CAT scan uses a n X-ray machine to view the inner parts of someone’s body. The machine is used to check for tumors,cancers, internal bleeding or broken bones.

-Colonoscopy

This is a test that doctors perform in order ton see the parts of the large intestine and to detect diseases such as colon cancer. This procedure is often called for when there is irregular bowel movements. Irregular bowel movements include intense pain when passing stool, presence of blood when passing stool and severe constipation.

This employs the use of an ultrasound machine to view the organs in the body such as kidneys and liver.The transducer produces high frequency sound waves that are transmitted into the body and reflected back by the tissues in the body

The ultrasound machine creates images of from these sound waves which are then studied to identify any diseases in the organ viewed.Ultrasounds are also used to check on the development of a fetus
